The Mavens’ Story
The Baby Mavens was born out of a love for all things baby related. Our team, and our business has grown over the years but our foundation is built on a true desire to help new moms and dads, and an honest passion for caring for families and caring about the support and care that they receive. This work is not a hobby for our team, we all consider ourselves to be professionals and continue to work tirelessly to make sure that you are given the best, most up to date, information, the gentle and loving care you deserve, a hand to hold, and someone to walk beside you on your journey into and adventure through parenthood. We feel proud to have a team of women that are some of the best, most well trained professionals in this industry! We are confident that we can support you from preconception until potty training!
Laurie and Lauren met while working as nannies in 2005, and out of that began a lifelong friendship. Over the years we looked to one another for child related advice, and discovered we both shared a true passion for all things baby. A vision of The Baby Mavens was born.
After our Postpartum Doula training, we both felt empowered, excited, and more ardent than ever about helping new parents learn about their most precious gift, their new baby. We had finally found what we were meant to be doing in life! We added to our "Team" of Mavens starting in 2015, as we got busier. We are very particular about who we bring on board. We consider these amazing women an extension of ourselves, we feel confident that you will love them as much as we do!
