I was that little girl who at 8 years old would follow you around and ask “Can I hold your baby?” I started babysitting at just 10 years old, and the rest is history- I was hooked! I have had a lifelong passion that has involved babies, toddlers and children. I worked in many different childcare settings; daycares, early intervention, and private homes. After college, I found I loved working as a nanny and stayed with one family for 12 years! As a nanny I learned that families really need so much support, and I began to dream of a career in the postpartum field, and after my training my life would never be the same. I have a passion for helping moms and dads find THEIR footing as new parents, and for making every family feel as supported and as loved as they want. I know that every family’s need are different, and I hope that by always learning more- reading the newest research and taking the latest training, I can always be helping MORE.

When I began my career I found that so many families needed that extra help with breastfeeding and sleep, and so began a new ardor. Because I don’t sleep, I strive to help families that want more sleep to achieve that in a way that works best for THEM. I have the same philosophy about breastfeeding, just because one thing worked for this mom doesn’t mean it will work for another. I see every mother, every father, every sibling and every baby as their own person and I strive to provide the care that will work for you!

When I am not helping families in some way, you can find me at home in NH with my hubby and my fur baby- Buddy the Boston Terrier. (He’s the best dog ever!) The 3rd floor of my home has become Maven North, where I have been hiding doing work and some crafting. I enjoy knitting, although I never finish anything. ( I always start a baby blanket when a friend is pregnant and usually give it for a 3rd birthday present!) I am a voracious reader, I could read all day every day, but my husband will not allow me to spend that much money on digital books. :) I really love to hike, and there are lots of amazing places to explore in New England, if only I could get out there more! Family and friends are everything, I love to host at my home!
